Q:Dialpad Buttons – what the roles of the * and # keys?
'#' key:
Pressing the '#' key at the end of your number or name accelerates the dialing of a number or name.
It can also be used in the main menu, when no other key has yet been pressed, to switch from voice command to the touch-tone dialing mode and vice versa.
'##' key:
When on a call, this serves as a toggle to enable/disable the pass-thru of dialpad touch-tone buttons
This is needed when dialing your voice mail system or a conferencing system.
When enabled, all dialpad touch-tones are sent to the destination. You cannot invoke MOBIVOX Voice Assistant when in this mode.
You must press ## again to disable pass-thru in order to invoke MOBIVOX Voice Assistant.
'*' key:
When in any sub-menu, pressing the '*' key will bring you back to the main menu.
When in a conversation, pressing the '*' key will bring back MOBIVOX Voice Assistant, allowing you to use our advanced features such as Instant Conferencing or Call Transfer. To resume your conversation, press the '*' key.
Press “*” key followed by "Hang Up" (in Voice Command mode) or the digit "5" (in dialpad mode) to end current call and start a new call
