Q:When I try to call one of my friends, MOBIVOX Voice Assistant doesn't recognize my voice command.
Here are a few tips to improve voice recognition:
Speak at normal speed and volume
Say contact names exactly as you have entered them in your Contact Book. i.e. say "Robert Smith" not "Bob Smith", depending on what is entered in your Contact Book
Do not use symbols such as '$' or '#' in the names of your contacts. Those symbols cannot be recognized.
If the contacts you imported from Skype™ had symbols, please edit them before calling them
Do not use digits in the name of your contacts. Contacts such as John10101 will not be recognized.
When naming your contacts, use words that can be spoken. Contacts such as jjjjllllkkkk will not be recognized.
Do not to use very short words; background noise could sometimes trigger a false recognition.
Minimize background noise in a vehicle by turning down the radio and rolling up open windows.
If you are having difficulties being understood by MOBIVOX Voice Assistant, you can switch to dial pad mode (dialing your commands) by pressing the # key.
You can also choose dial pad (dialing your commands) as your default interface in the "Service Settings" section of "My Profile" within "My MOBIVOX".
When Call Forward is ON, you will receive calls to your MOBIVOX iNum and Call Me Button.
When Call Forward is OFF, your MOBIVOX iNum and Call Me Button calls will be disabled.
