FAQ » Using MOBIVOX

Q: What if my mobile number is not recognized when I call MOBIVOX?

If you have entered your mobile country code and number properly during the registration process, MOBIVOX should recognize you when you call your MOBIVOX local or "National access number". There are four potential exceptions:

a) When calling your MOBIVOX "Access Number", some telecom carriers (your mobile or home phone company) do not always transmit your number/caller ID perfectly.

b) Your mobile phone might have some settings that keep your number private. Does your number appear on call display phones? If not, check your user manual to change the settings.

c) You might be calling from a mobile or a landline number other than the numbers you entered when setting up your MOBIVOX account.

d) Mobile calls made while roaming (when a subscriber of one wireless service provider uses the facilities of another wireless service provider) sometimes do not carry caller ID.

In these cases, to make a call, you will be required to manually enter a registered phone number and your "Personal Identification Number" (PIN).
